Tercera entrega del popular musical de Disney creado para televisión. Troy (Zac Efron) y Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens), alumnos del último curso, se enfrentan a la perspectiva de la separación ya que ambos emprenderán caminos diferentes en la universidad. Con ayuda del resto de los Wildcats, realizan un elaborado musical de primavera que refleja sus experiencias, sus esperanzas y sus inquietudes ante el futuro... As seniors in high school, Troy and Gabriella struggle with the idea of being separated from one another as college approaches. Along with the rest of the Wildcats, they stage a spring musical to address their experiences, hopes and fears about their future.
