An indie horror film of claustrophobic proportions, THE OFF SEASON follows a young couple (Christina Campenella and Don Wood) who have left New York City for the quieter regions of Maine. Their idyllic retreat in soon marred by the troubled past of their new home, but unlike most haunted houses, theirs is a small, one-room apartment. With nowhere to run, they are forced to face the strange things that start to happen, and these are things they cannot discuss with one another. As the couple becomes more and more alienated despite the close confines of their home, the guilt and fear that inhabits their room grows ever stronger. Angus Scrimm ("The Tall Man" in the PHANTASM film series) co-stars as Ted, the eccentric ex-rodeo star.
