Giovanni Antonini is one of the founding members of the ensemble Il Giardino Armonico, which he has led since 1989. This young ensemble from Milan plays with relish at the Vienna Musik Verein on historical instruments. Katia and Marielle Labeque received their first piano instruction at ages three and five and then studied at the Paris Conservatoire. The sisters are famous for their unusual ensemble precision, their great musicality and the breadth of their repertoire. They have appeared as soloists with conductors like Zubin Mehta, Seiji Ozawa and Guiseppe Sinopoli. In this concert they perform with Il Giardino Armonico. Other members of the ensemble are: E.
