G.I. JOE: VALOR VS. VENOM is a feature-length CGI animated adventure featuring Hasbro´s most popular character, G.I. Joe. America´s daring, highly trained special mission force faces its greatest threat yet from the evil Cobra organization, under the direction of Cobra Commander. DNA from the world´s most ferocious animals has been combined with humans to create a virtually unstoppable army of venom troopers. Led by Duke, Heavy Duty, Scarlett and Snake Eyes, the heroic G.I. Joe team fights this new menace in a battle to save humanity. G.I. Joe es una serie de dibujos animados de soldados creados por David Breger, cuando le pidieron hacer una historieta para los militares de Estados Unidos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Breger llegó con el título "G.I. Joe" con la referencia militar "edición del gobierno". Su historieta debuta el 17 de junio de 1942 en la revista militar YANK y el periódico Stars and Stripes. En 1945, United Artists realizó una película titulada The Story of G.I. Joe, dirigida por William Wellman y protagonizada por Burgess Meredith, fue aclamada por el Corresponsal de Guerra Ernie Pyle.
